Our round access doors are designed to provide safe and simple access to internal components of your ductwork system. They are used for access for cleaning, servicing and inspections, including use within fire and smoke control systems.
How to fit a circular access door into a section of ductwork?
Trace, Cut, Insert, Tighten! As simple as that!
Use the included guide to trace a cutting line on your circular duct, or use the door itself as a guideline, and cut. Your hole should be around 15–20mm smaller than the size of the door. Now that you have the hole cut, you can go ahead and insert the panel at an angle, sandwiching the cut edge between the pressed plates of the access door. Tighten the handwheels to compress the gaskets for an airtight seal.
