Astro Plates Air Transfer Face Plates are high-quality mild steel louvred grilles designed for efficient air transfer in a wide range of internal commercial applications. Suitable for use in offices, schools, hospitals, retail spaces and other public buildings, these face plates offer a slimline, unobtrusive appearance while delivering excellent airflow performance.

Manufactured using modern press machinery and production techniques, the Astro Plates range is robustly fabricated from 20 SWG mild steel. The grille features horizontal louvres set on an 8.5mm pitch with a 30% downward deflection, helping to control airflow direction while maintaining a high free area of approximately 66% for economical system selection.

Designed primarily for internal door or wall mounting, the steel construction makes these face plates suitable for use with Astroflame Intumescent Fire Grilles, as well as standard non-fire air transfer applications. The wide flange border provides adequate clearance for secure surface fixing to surrounding structures.

The Astro Plates range is available in a complete selection of standard and reverse-louvre sizes, with a standard finish in Silver (RAL 9006). White or other RAL colours are available on request to suit specific project requirements. Please get in touch for custom/alternative sizes & finishes.
