Our 45 degree saddle take offs provide a strong, low resistance branch connection from a straight spiral duct length. Designed to fit neatly onto your spiral / circular ductwork. The curved 45 degree saddle profile matches the duct surface. This take off allows for smoother airflow and improved system efficiency in comparison to a standard straight collar saddle.
Manufactured from high quality galvanised steel, this saddle is fast and easy to install for a clean 45 degree branch from a main line of duct. Installers typically cut an opening in the main duct to match the saddle size, securing it in place with square / wafer head self-drilling screws and sealant along all joint edges to ensure an airtight finish.
The take-off is corrosion resistant, durable, and suitable for both commercial and residential HVAC ventilation systems.
Our 45 degree saddle take offs are equally sized to the main duct diameter. For instance, a 100mm diameter saddle take off will fit from a 100mm diameter main duct line, and a 250mm diameter saddle take off will fit from a 250mm diameter main duct line.
