Our Radial Duct Inline Tube Fan – Speed Controller (DV-REG-L-3) provides smooth, reliable speed control for single-phase 230V inline and duct-mounted fan motors.

Whether you need to reduce airflow, fine-tune system balancing, or lower noise levels on site, this controller allows precise manual adjustment of fan speed via a simple rotary dial.

Suitable for voltage-controllable single-phase motors, the DV-REG-L-3 can manage multiple fans provided the total running load does not exceed 3.0A.

What is the DV-REG-L-3 Speed Controller used for?

The DV-REG-L-3 is designed to adjust the running speed of radial inline tube fans and other single-phase duct fans.

Rather than running at full speed continuously, this controller allows you to:

• Reduce airflow where required

• Lower overall system noise

• Improve energy efficiency

• Assist with ventilation system balancing during commissioning

It offers infinitely variable speed control, meaning you are not restricted to fixed step settings.

How does it work?

The controller uses a rotary potentiometer to vary the voltage supplied to the motor.

Inside the unit are two adjustable trim settings:

Hard Start Adjustment (P1)

Allows you to set a startup boost time between 0–15 seconds.
This ensures reliable fan startup before settling at the selected speed.

Minimum Speed Adjustment (P2)

Allows you to set the minimum operating voltage between 60–150VAC.
This prevents motor stalling when running at lower speeds.
